Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Suimyo Studio (operated by CHUN WANG, the "Developer") takes the protection of users' personal information seriously in providing Kiteren (the "App"). This Privacy Policy sets out how personal information is handled in the App.

2. Information We Collect

2-1. Account information

• The email address associated with your Apple ID or Google account
• Display name (a nickname you choose)
• Profile image (optional)

2-2. Usage data

• Group creation and membership information
• Event RSVP responses
• FCM tokens used for push notifications

2-3. AI Assist

AI Assist runs entirely on your device. Text you enter is never sent to the Developer's servers.

2-4. Usage and diagnostic data

• In-app events (screen views, feature usage, and similar)
• Crash reports and performance data

This data is collected through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics solely to improve the quality of the App, and is never used for advertising purposes. On Android, you can choose whether to send this data when you first launch the App, and you can change that choice at any time in Settings.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes.

• Providing, operating, and improving the App
• Sending push notifications to users
• Responding to inquiries
• Investigating and responding to violations of the Terms of Service
• Identifying defects in the App and improving its quality

4. Sharing of Information

The Developer does not provide users' personal information to third parties except in the following cases.

• Where the user has consented
• Where required by law
• Where necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• Free plan data is automatically deleted one month after creation
• Pro plan data is automatically deleted three months after creation
• When an account is deleted, all personal data is deleted immediately (see Account Deletion Request for the procedure)
• Server logs are deleted after 30 days

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services. Please review each service's own privacy policy.

• Supabase (database and authentication)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
• Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics (usage analytics and crash diagnostics)
• Cloudflare R2 (file storage)
• Apple / Google (account authentication and in-app purchases)
• RevenueCat (subscription state management; processes purchase information and anonymized user identifiers)

The App does not display advertising and does not track users for advertising purposes. We do not access or use the advertising identifiers on iOS (IDFA) or Android (Advertising ID), we do not combine the data we collect with third-party data for advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are used with all advertising-related signals disabled.

About this website (kiteren.com). We measure site usage with Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics 4) in order to understand which channels visitors arrive from and to improve what we publish. We record only information such as the page viewed, the display language, and referral parameters attached to the link you followed; we never link this to your name or email address. Advertising-related signals are disabled here as well. Legal pages opened from inside the App are not measured.

7. Security

The Developer implements appropriate security measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information. All communication is encrypted with TLS, and database access is protected by row-level security (RLS).

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

The Developer may revise this Policy as necessary. If there are material changes, we will announce them in the App or on this page.
